On-Site Wedding Hair and Makeup Services
We provide expert wedding hair and makeup services for you and your party on your big day! Our mobile group services are designed to accommodate special events for groups who are looking for up-do/specialty styles and makeup. We are one of Boston's premiere special events hair and makeup providers. All of our stylist and makeup artist are licensed, experienced professionals.
Pre-Wedding Trial Services
Please note that all weddings are booked on a first-come basis. Due to stylist and seasonal demands, we ask that you schedule your hair and makeup trial as far in advance of your wedding day as possible. All trials will be done at our salon located in Saugus, MA. We do not offer mobile trial appointments.
For brides, we ask that you have an idea of how you want to wear your hair and makeup on your wedding day and welcome you to bring your veil, accessories and inspiration photos. Please arrive with clean dry hair or blow dry straight if your hair is curly and you want a sleek wedding day hair style.

Additional Costs:
Travel Fees are based on mileage from Business Location to Client Location at a rate of $1.25 per mile. Fees are calculated based on the quickest route via GPS and may include additions for toll fees and predicted traffic. Travel Locations to Boston area hotels incur an on site parking fee. Travel distances exceeding 3 hours (one way) will incur a fee for overnight accommodations for your styling team. Overnight fees are calculated based on the average rate of lodging in the surrounding area of Client’s Location.

FAQ
DO YOU OFFER HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIALS?
Yes! A trial is the best way to meet us in our salon, and visualize what you will look (and feel) like on your wedding day! Trials are scheduled 7 days a week, at Vintage Beauty Lounge. We ask that you bring inspiration photos, extensions if desired, and any hair accessories such as pins, hair clips, or veil.
CAN I BOOK A TRIAL BEFORE PAYING BOOKING FEE + SIGNING CONTRACT?
Yes you may! The cost would be $200 (hair/makeup) to have a trial at Vintage Beauty Lounge. We ask you allow at least 3 hours of your time for your stylist(s) to thoughtfully communicate and create! Trials are not mandatory, and do not guarantee availability on your wedding day! Please inquire via the booking form for availability! Email us to know what to expect before your hair or makeup trials!
IS THERE A BOOKING FEE OR DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes, a $300 booking fee or 50% for invoices under $300 is required to reserve your session. Once paid, your date is deemed secured. Your balance remainder is due 7 days before your event, as reflected in your Contract.
IF I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY EVENT DATE IS THE BOOKING FEE/DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
Yes, if the cancellation is more than 90 days out from the event.
Within 90 days of the event, there will be no refunds. Please take into consideration that we cannot re-book that time without ample notification.
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Your booking fee includes up to 20 miles from our physical Saugus MA salon location. Destinations beyond this service radius will incur a travel fee. There may be parking + valet fees as well. The cost of the travel fee will be determined upon completion of our Price Quote booking form.
WHAT OTHER COSTS SHOULD I BE AWARE OF?
There is a $25 fee per 1/2 hour of delay if someone is not ready at their given time. If your location is over 3 hours away from our Business Location, overnight accommodations will be added at the client's expense. Gratuity is added to every invoice, at a rate of 20%. The contact person on the inquiry form is responsible for all costs. Unfortunately, we are unable to bill each guest individually. We ask that you arrange for your guests to pay you directly for any hair and makeup services in advance. Payment is to be made in full 7 days before your event to avoid any scheduling interruptions.
HOW MANY HAIR/MAKEUP STYLISTS DO YOU SEND FOR MY WEDDING?
Each wedding event is staffed based on the number of your party and services you will be requiring. We generally staff for between 2 and 4 guests per stylist. Many factors play into this and it will be discussed at the time of booking your wedding.
I'M NOT SURE IF EVERYONE IN MY PARTY WILL WANT HAIR OR MAKEUP. WHEN DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
Ideally we would like a confirmed number by the time of booking, this is so we can make sure we set aside the correct number of artists needed for your wedding. Please be aware if you wait to add guests/services-- we may not have staff available to accommodate changes/additions the closer we get to your wedding day. Changes are permitted up to 90 days before your wedding, with no refunds processed afterward, as outlined in your Contract.
